CAIRO - 19 May 2022: The fans of Al Ahly and Zamalek are expecting another showdown on Thursday night as the Cairo giants will battle for the African Cup Winners' Cup title in Niamey, the capital of Niger.

During the recent years, Zamalek always had the upper hand in handball derbies and they managed to clinch the Egyptian League title this season while Al Ahly failed to find success on the domestic level.

However, the Red Devils gained so much confidence ahead of the competition when they defeated Zamalek in the African Super Cup and booked their place in the IHF Super Globe.

Zamalek have lifted the trophy on five previous occasions while the Red Devils, the defending champions, are chasing them with four titles.

Both teams did not lose a single game in their route to the final and they are ready to challenge each other for the title.

The game will start at 7:00 PM.
