CAIRO –13 July 2017: Egypt national team manager Ehab Leheta determined the date of announcing Egypt’s squad list for the two matches against Uganda in the qualifiers for the 2018 World Cup in Russia.

With six points, Egypt is in the lead of group D for the World Cup qualifiers, which includes Ghana, Uganda and Congo.

The national team is scheduled to travel to Uganda for the first leg match on August 27 before their second leg match on September 2 at Borg Al-Arab stadium in Alexandria in the third and fourth rounds of the African qualifiers.

"It is expected to announce the list of the Egyptian team for the two games in mid-August," Leheta said to Filgoal.

Leheta returned from Uganda after a three-day visit to check on all the arrangements for the team's delegation, training venues and match stadium.

"I am satisfied with the preparations that the Ugandan federation will provide us, and I have met with the president of the federation, and he confirmed that he will facilitate everything in front of us,” Leheta added.
