Preview: Al-Ahly vs. Wadi Degla

CAIRO – 12 July 2017: Al-Ahly FC is expected to play against Wadi Degla FC in the quarter finals of the Egyptian Cup on July 12.

Al-Ahly coach, Hossam el-Badry will be looking for a win that will qualify them for the next round of the Egyptian Cup. While, Wadi Degla’s Coach Ahmed Hossam Mido, is expected to allow the younger players get more play time so that they gain more experience.

Badry is expected to start the match with a 4-2-3-1 formation consisting of the following players:

Goalkeeper: Mohamed el-Shenawy

Defenders: Mohamed Hany (Right Back), Mohamed Naguib and Ramy Rabea as two center backs, Sabry Raheel (Left Back)

Midfielders: Akram Tawfik, Hossam Ashour

Attacking Midfielders: Mido Gaber (Right), Salah Gomaa (Middle), Momaen Zakeria (Left)

Striker: Amr Gamal

Badry did not to pick Sherif Ekramy, Abdallah El Said, Ahmed Hegazy or Ahmed Fathy in the squad in order to give them time to rest. Al-Ahly is set to meet Wadi Degla on Wednesday, July 12 at El Salam Stadium at 8 p.m local time.
