CAIRO-18 December 2021: Antonio Conte, Tottenham Hotspur boss, believes that Liverpool Egyptian winger, Mohamed Salah, is the main threat to his team when they host Liverpool on Sunday in the Premier League.

Salah is in a fantastic run of form in the league, leading the charts of goals and assists in the competition with 24 league goal contributions.

“I think he is one of the best players in the world. During the game, we have seen he scores or makes assists. He is a very decisive player. During games, every time he has the ball he’s a danger.” Conte said.

Conte was Juventus coach when Salah was taking his first steps in Italian football with Fiorentina and followed his progress in Italy after he joined AS Roma.

Conte added “I remember him when he played in Italy. Now he’s improved in an incredible way. Now I think he’s one of the best players in the world and in every game he’s very decisive.”

Tottenham are out of league action since their 3-0 win over Norwich City on 5 December, amid a COVID-19 outbreak in the squad, which caused their last two league matches to be postponed.
