FA to decide Al-Ahly vs. Zamalek match’s location

CAIRO – 10 July 2017: Shereen Shams, Al-Ahly’s executive director, spoke on Monday about decision on the stadium that will host Al-Ahly vs. Zamalek match.

Al-Ahly is expected to play on July 17 in the 34th fixture of the Egyptian League.

Speaking to Al-Ahly’s official website, Shams said, “Al-Ahly is waiting the response of the Egyptian FA about where the match will be played.”

Adding on to the club’s official website, Shams said,” Al-Ahly received statements from the Egyptian security saying that the match can’t be held in Cairo.”

Shams then concluded to the official website saying, “We will wait the final decision of the Egypt FA after their meetings with the Egyptian security.”

It is good to mention that the first leg between Al-Ahly and Zamalek saw a dispute about where the match will be played before finally agreeing on playing the match in Petro Sport Stadium where Al-Ahly won 2-0.
