CAIRO – 10 July 2017: Over the course of nine days there have been 16 teams, great sportsmanship, huge audiences, and many journalists and at the end Canada are the FIBA Under-19 (U19) World Cup Champions.

Canada won the final over Italy 79-60 to win their first ever gold medal, adding a new chapter in Canadian sports history.

While many of the teams’ best players in the tournament played against each other, we picked the 10 best moments in the final.

Egypt hosted the tournament from July 1 to July 9 at the Cairo International Stadium. The 16 teams will leave Egypt with great memories from the tournament, but whatever your team, your result, your performance, Egypt will always welcome you.
