Egypt aims victory to decide qualifying to the final round of World Cup African qualifiers

CAIRO, 11 October 2021: Egypt will play an important match on Monday, against Libya in the fourth round of the sixth group of African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup.
 
The Pharaohs aspire to achieve any positive result against the Libyan national team to ensure that they continue to lead the sixth group.
 
Egypt looks to maintain the their hopes in qualifying for the decisive match which will be held next March against one of the top five ranked African teams.
 
Egypt aims to achieve victory which will bring them close to qualifying, as it occupies the top of the group with 7 points, then Libya second with 6 points, Angola 3 points and Gabon in the fourth place with one point.
 
 
Queiroz is expected to start today's match with a formation consisting of:
 
Goalkeeper: Mohamed El-Shennawy.
 
Defense lines: Akram Tawfik, Mahmoud Hamdi "Al Wensh", Ahmed Hegazy, Ahmed Fattouh.
 
Midfield: Tarek Hamed, Mohamed Elneny, Amr El-Sulayya.
 
Forwards: Mohamed Salah, Mustafa Mohamed, Omar Marmoush.
