CAIRO - 10 July 2017: Al Ahly handball team signed Egyptian-Qatari Mahmoud Zaky Hasaballa, who plays for Qatar’s national team, for two years to strengthen the Al Ahly handball team.

The former El Olympi club player signed for two seasons before his international card was sent by the Qatar Handball Association to Al Ahly Club on Sunday, Zaky appeared on Saturday in the team’s training as a prelude to joining Al Ahly, Super Kora reported.

Mahmoud Zaky is one of the most important players of the Qatari team and won the silver medal for the 2015 World Cup in Doha.

On the other hand Asim Hammad, the head coach of the Al Ahly team decided to release two of the team’s players: Mohamed Ali, goalkeeper, and Ahmed Koria. Meanwhile, Omar Yasin left the team as well, but he was loaned to Tala’e Al Geish, Youm 7 reported.
