Egyptian national Olympic team handed tough group at Tokyo Olympics

CAIRO, 21 April 2021: Tokyo Olympics soccer draw resulted in Egypt falling into the group of death.
 
The Egyptian national Olympic team came in Group C next to Spain, Argentina and Australia.
 
The competition groups are as follows:
 
Group A: Japan - South Africa - Mexico - France
 
Group Two: New Zealand - South Korea - Honduras - Romania
 
Group C: Egypt - Spain - Argentina - Australia
 
Group D: Brazil - Germany - Cote d'Ivoire - Saudi Arabia
 
 
The Egyptian national Olympic team starts their confrontations with Spain, who won Olympics 92 gold medal.
 
Egypt's first match will be held on Thursday, July 22nd, in front of the Spanish El Matador.
 
The second match of the Pharaohs is no less difficult, as they face Argentina, the gold-medalist, in the 2004 and 2008 rounds.
 
The Pharaohs will play Argentina on Sunday, July 25th, at the same stadium.
 
The Egyptian national Olympic team will conclude their confrontations with Australia on Wednesday, July 28th.
 
The first and second of each group qualify for the quarter-finals.
 
Egypt x Spain (July 22) 9:30 a.m.
 
Egypt x Argentina (July 25) 9:30 a.m.
 
Australia x Egypt (July 28) 1 pm
