CAIRO - 23 June 2017: The Italian newspaper Travel No Stop said on Wednesday tourism is on its way to recovery in Egypt, which is marked as one of the most favorable destinations for Italians, though Italians often head to other destinations like Greece and Spain.

The newspaper added that “The number of Italian tourists in Greece has increased by 20 percent since April 15, in comparison with last year figures. Likewise, the number of Italian tourists who prefer Egypt also increased for its pretty sunny weather, luxurious hotels, and considerable low prices,” the president and CEO of the Alpitour Group, Gabriele Burgio said.

“Tourism in Egypt is likely to get better. We are looking for new destinations including some exquisite islands in Vietnam,” Burgio added.
