CAIRO- 27 May 2017: Reservations of German holidaymakers to Egypt through UK-based travel agent Thomas Cook show an increase of 45 percent this summer, compared to the same period last year, according to Egyptian investor and Thomas Cook's agent in Egypt, Moudi el-Shaer.

“British tourism to Hurghada may increase by 60 percent this summer,” Shaer stated, calling on tourism and civil aviation ministers to reduce fees of landing and takeoff at Egyptian airports, and to promote tourism to Egypt in the Ukrainian market.

Balkan Express Company has also raised its flow to 10 flights from Italy to Egypt, every week, forecasting a hike in Italian reservations in Sharm el-Sheikh in the summer of 2017.

On Friday, a Sharm el-Sheikh resort received 150 Italian tourists, who attended a grand reception alongside Italian journalists.
