The Four Season’s restaurant rolls out a new menu stacked with new flavors and twists

At the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at the First Residence, the Italian-themed restaurant Strada is swapping in the old for the new with some original, mouth-watering dishes making a first-time appearance on the menu.
Sticking to the boot-shaped land from which it draws inspiration, Italian accents are woven through all of the menu’s new dishes and complimented with new flavors. From the beef carpaccio to the risotto, Cairo has found its “Little Italy.”
At a special tasting event,
EgyptToday was able to get a sneak peak of some new items being prepped for the menu. For starters, Strada has a tasty list of antipastis including Caprese, seafood salad and beef carpaccio. Headlining the Antipasti list is the cross culture mix between east and west in the tempura eggplant, and the delectable and creative combination in the cuttlefish tagiatelli.
Risotto will be a big feature on this new menu, and a couple of different varieties and tastes will be available for patrons to choose from. Of the new varieties, the seafood risotto has enough seafood flavors to make you feel like you’re dining on the Mediterranean coast.
New main course offerings include the pollocacciatora (chicken cacciatora) which features two thick pieces of grilled chicken atop a chickpeas-polenta soufflé, all of which is drizzled with a rich, savory sauce. You can also opt for the seafood route and take a stab at the salmon verde, which features a crispy skin salmon alongside a basil zucchini salad, green pea sauce and a white lemon puree.
Saving room for your sweet tooth? You’re in for a treat, because the Suzy Strada al Cioccolato is everything sweet. Bits of chocolate cake atop a berry compote absorb a delicious scoop of Italian cookies ice cream, and the flavors combined melt in your mouth.
