Cairo – 3 August 2017: Kiki has worked with some of the world’s top models and even worked under the intense pressure of international fashion shows for the likes of Stella McCartney and Victoria's Secret.

He is Egypt’s most in demand make-up-artist for fashion shoots, weddings, special effects and everything else in-between; he is everyone’s go-to-make up artist.

I mean who would not want him to work on them after he has graced the faces of Cara Delevingne, Lindsey Wixson, Liu Wen and Jessica Stam just to name a few because he does not like to brag.

No other make-up-artist in the country has reached the level Kiki has positioned himself in till this day.

Kiki finds inspiration in the visual Egyptian culture that is found in cinema, music, and art. His work showcases the best of glamour, fashion, and the various artistic sub-cultures, ranging from punk rock to Hollywood aesthetic. Yet he always loves to experiment with all artistic practices and milieus.

We got the chance to ask Kiki a few questions in a mini interview just so you can get to know him a little better.

1. What is your background in makeup (studies)?

I took my masters in New York City at makeup Forever Academy that included every genre of make-up starting with beauty, body painting, theater, movies and special effects. I was the first student to be featured on their website and I was their ambassador in New York after taking my masters while assisting at the academy.

2. When did you first fall in love with make-up?

All the credit goes to my beautiful mother. Her beauty taught me how to appreciate beauty and to never tragically change it.

3. What is your favorite make-up look?

Glowing a well high-lighted face with red lipstick (not a morning look by any means).

4. What is your favorite make-up hack/tip?

Always clean the face probably and then apply cream this is a must before makeup and always use sunscreen during summer.

5. What is your favorite shade of lipstick and why?

Nude colors are always my favorite, nothing can ever go wrong while using them.

6. What are your favorite beauty trend and the trend that you want to end?

My favorite is always going to be LESS IS MORE ... And I want that mindset of 80’s and badly done drag make-up that Egyptians are still using as a reference to beauty makeup to end, please make it stop (We agree with him 110 percent on this)

7. Which do you prefer to use a beauty blender or a brush?

Both; I love all my tools. It depends on how and when is the best time to use them to be able to get that desired look.
