Milkyway camp at Serabit el-Khadim in Sinai

CAIRO - 31 July 2017: An event by the Astrotrips group is taking place in Sinai on August 18.

The event is aiming to camp at Serabit el-Khadim, a Pharaonic monument in Sinai, where astonishing acacia trees and springs will cover you up while hiking and sleeping there.

The meteor show will still be in show, although not the main focus of the trip, but a very good addition to the night view of the star-filled sky.

The event will be two days long and costs LE 850 ($47) for two days, with all meals included with Bedouin style highlights.
