Ah yes, the struggle of waking up early. Your alarm goes off, and you dread getting out of bed to start your day, especially after a weekend full of late-night scrolling, binge-watching your favorite show and sleeping in. No shade thrown to night owls though, but sometimes a switch in your routine is exactly what you need to stay on track and finish all your tasks, or maybe you just want to make your mornings more productive.
So,here’s the real deal. These fool-proof steps will help you ease into becoming a morning person—without the pressure or perfectionism.

Put Your Mind to Bed
In order to prepare your mind and body for bed, there are some steps that need to be done like:

1. Limiting Screen Time Before Bed. Putting down your laptop, phone or even the TV at least 30 to 60 minutes can help your brain wind down.
2. Avoid Caffeine Late in the Day. Late-night iced coffee can be tempting, but it’ll have you staring at the ceiling until sunrise, you can drink herbal teas instead like chamomile, peppermint and ginger tea.
3. Say No to Late Night Cravings. Craving that leftover pizza? We've all been there. Eating before bed can make it harder to fall asleep, and it can also trigger nighttime heartburn.
4. Create a Calming Routine. Whether its journaling, doing your skin-care routine, or listening to calming sounds before bed, these habits help set the mood for a restful night.

Create a Morning Routine
To become a morning person, there has to be a planned routine that drives you to wake up. It doesn't have to be a long to-do list of boring chores. Maybe it’s starting with a warm cup of coffee or tea, stepping outside for a rejuvenating morning walk, doing a quick stretch, or playing your favorite feel-good playlist while getting ready. Add things that energize you, not drain you.
