Egypt’s Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities organizes visits to 1st “Youth Train” in Luxor

CAIRO – 21 March 2021: The “Youth Train” to Luxor was organized in cooperation between the Ministries of Tourism and Antiquities and the Youth and Sports. 

 

 

After the “Youth Train” resumed and launched its first trip last week to Luxor, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities organized a number of tours for youth  in many touristic and archaeological sites in Luxor. They visited the Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Rams Road, Deir al-Bahari Temple and the West Bank.

This comes in line with the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities plan promote domestic tourism and raise tourism and archaeological awareness of Egyptians, especially children and youth, by organizing such awareness-raising trips to various tourist and archaeological sites. 

 

 

The trips aims to educate them with the history of Egypt and the ancient Egyptian civilization and strengthening their pride and sense of belonging to their country.

The young people participating in the “Youth Train” expressed their happiness with these visits, which they described as enjoyable. 

 

 

They added that the visits provided them with an opportunity to learn about the history of their country and see the various tourist and archaeological attractions of Egypt. They also made sure to document all the activities of their visit by taking photos.
