187 Egyptian artists selected to join ‘Agenda 2021’ art exhibition

CAIRO – 12 January 2021: The Department of Art Exhibitions and Collections of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s Cultural Communication Sector announced the names of the artists participating in the 14th edition of "Agenda 2021" exhibition.

A total of 573 Egyptian artists from different governorates applied for the exhibition, and after many discussions that lasted nearly a month, 187 artists were selected to participate. This number is the largest since 2011.

The exhibition is scheduled to open on February 11, 2021. An announcement will be made if activities are halted due to the pandemic.

Artists participating in the exhibition will be contacted by e-mail, to set a date for receiving the artworks.
