In 2020: Egypt’s Ministry of Culture presents 84,000 electronic activities

CAIRO – 22 December 2020: During 2020, the Egyptian Ministry of Culture organized a number of cultural and artistic events despite COVID-19 and despite the complete lock-down that was implemented during the first months of the pandemic.

According to the ministry’s statement issued Tuesday, the Ministry of Culture presented during 2020, 84,000 electronic and actual activities, 10 creative initiatives, 1,753 theater nights, 100 book fairs, and the inauguration of 19 cultural and educational facilities.
