CAIRO - 11 December 2020: The 42nd edition of Cairo International Film Festival took place on December 10.

 

“Cairo is beautiful and Egypt is dazzling” said the closing ceremony host Jasmine Taha Zaki.


Zaki welcomed the festival guests who were keen to attend despite the critical circumstances of COVID-19.

“During the Festival we saw more than 90 films from 40 countries” Zaki said.

Zaki added that films reflect different cultures and emotions.

“Let us praise all the cinema makers and lovers” Zaki recounted.

Zaki thanked the festival management for organizing this exceptional edition.

“ Welcome on stage CIFF head Mohamed Hefzy” Zaki said asking Hefzy to come on stage.
