Iconic Andrei Konchalovsky gives ‘Natural Rebel’ masterclass at Cairo International Film Festival

CAIRO - 8 December 2020:  Legendary Russian filmmaker Andrei Konchalovsky gave a virtual masterclass entitled ‘Natural Rebel’ at Cairo International Film Festival on December 7.

“Konchalovsky is a natural rebel, a believer in art for art's sake” writes The Guardian’s Stephen Moss on Andrei Konchalovsky, a filmmaker who has won awards ranging from Cannes to the Emmys.

He has worked with the visionary, Andrei Tarkovsky, who many still try to emulate, and Konchalovsky himself is now placed among the pioneers of Russian cinema.
