BEIJING, Sept 3 (MENA) - Egyptian cultural counselor in China Omaima Ghanem Zidan said that Egypt will participate in the World Culture and Tourism Industry Expo (WCTIE) 2020 - due to be held in the Chinese city of Guangzhou - by a big pavilion to display cultural products and promote for Egyptian tourism.

 
In statements to MENA on Thursday, Zidan said that the WCTIE - slated for September 24-26 - will witness the participation of 65 countries.
 
The WCTIE will be held on an area of 100,000 square meter.
 
Egyptian Ambassador to China Mohamed el Badri will attend the inauguration and will hold a meeting with the Egyptian community in Guangzhou to stand on their problems.
 
This year's version of WCTIE is important as it is the 1st big international event to be held since the start of COVID 19, she said.
 
EgyptAir will participate in the Egyptian pavilion by presenting shows and tourism and promotional programs, Zidan said.
 
On the Egyptian-Chinese cooperation to combat COVID 19, Zidan said that the relations binding Egypt and China are excellent.
