CAIRO – 27 August 2020: Within the framework of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities' efforts to mitigate the economic effects resulting from the coronavirus (Covid-19) crisis, Mostafa Waziri, secretary-general of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, explained that the Board of Directors of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, in its last meeting headed by Khaled el-Anani, minister of tourism and antiquities, decided to extend a complete exemption to all cafeterias and bazaars in museums and archaeological sites affiliated to the council from paying the rental value until the end of September 2020.
