Egypt’s play ‘Hazlakoum’ to start its shows soon

CAIRO – 4 August 2020: Cairo Show theater announced that the Egyptian play "Hazlakoum" will launch its shows soon.

The play stars Egyptian actor Ahmed Mekky, Mohamed Salam, and Bayoumi Fouad among others.


In February, Mekky presented his first play “Hazalqoum” in Riyadh season. The play achieved booming success and garnered high revenues.


In the play, Mekki embodies one of the characters he was best known for in his film “La Trago’ Wala Esteslam” (No surrender or retreat) and “El-Kbeer” series.

Mekki presented “Hazalqoum” character in a completely new attire, additionally presenting four new characters on stage.


Theater producer Magdy el-Hawary previously stressed that he chose “Hazalqoum” because he is a big fan of the comical character. The play is directed by Karim Samy. 

“Khalsana Beshyaka” was Mekki’s latest series. The series starred Hisham Maged, Shico, Dina el-Sherbiny, Bayoumi Fouad, Intisar, Wizo and Os Os. It is directed by Hisham Fathi.

It is worth mentioning that Mekky will be back to cinema after seven years of hiatus with the movie "Mafesh Moshkela" (No Problem).
