Lebanese megastar Elissa to release ‘ Sahbet Ra’ay’ album on August 1

CAIRO – 1 August 2020: Lebanese megastar Elissa to release ‘’Sahbet Ra’ay’’ (a woman who has an opinion)album on Saturday August 1.

 Elissa released the first song from her upcoming album entitled “ Sahbet Ra’ay”.

The Egyptian dialect song  achieved booming success and topped Twitter trend in many Arab countries.

I am lucky to have you” Elissa previously wrote on her official Twitter account.

Elissa’s upcoming album will surprise her fans; it will include a song that tells the story of her 20-year-long career, as well as four Egyptian songs.

She is one of Lebanon's most famous singers and one of the best known artists in the Arab world. 

Elissa was the best-selling female Middle Eastern artist for 2005 and 2009.

In 2005, 2006 and 2010, she received the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist, and became the first Lebanese singer to receive the World Music Award for Best Selling Middle Eastern Artist.

It is worth mentioning that the Lebanese star has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.

Elissa is also one of the richest celebrities in Lebanon, with an estimated wealth of over $40 million. 

As of 2017, Elissa has had over 44 million followers on social media.
