CAIRO - 14 July 2020: Egyptian Film “Waraet Gameya” will be released in Egyptian cinemas in the coming Eid el-Adha.
 
The movie revolves around a woman named Umm Abdullah, who lives in a humble alley, provides for her sister and her family, and owns a hairdresser shop.
 
The movie stars a number of Egyptian stars, including Lucy, Mohamed Adel, Sahar el-Saigh, and Samy Fahmy among others.
 
“Waret Gameya” is written by Mohamed Gamal Taha and directed by Ahmed el-Bably.
 
It is also worth mentioning that the movie "Cell 7" is set to be released in the Eid al-Adha holidays.
 
“Cell 7” stars Ahmed Zaher, Nidal el-Shafei, Abeer Sabri, Maya Nasry, Menna Fadhali, Ehab Fahmy, Medhat Tikha, Ahmed el-Tohamy, Amy Islam, Mostafa Haredy, Ashraf Abdel Aziz and Ayman Keshk. It is written by Hossam Mousa and directed by Abram Nashaat. 
 
The specific date for the movie's release in cinemas is yet to be disclosed.
 
Nidal el-Shafei, one of the protagonists of the movie, embodies Mansour, a man who gets imprisoned. Ahmed Zaher embodies Harbi, who is just an ordinary man who gets caught up in a chain of problems that eventually causes him to be detained. Mansour and Harbi end up meeting each other in Cell 7, hence the name of the movie.
