CAIRO – 14 July 2020: The Opera enthusiasts will enjoy a series of Umm Kulthum’s classics performed by Abdel Halim Noweira’s Band for Arabic Music lead by Maestro Ahmed Amer on July 17 at 8 p.m. on the Open Theater.

 
It is noteworthy that the series of Kulthumiyat concerts is part of the Egyptian Opera House's plan to revive the heritage of Arab music and promote it to new generations as an integral part of Egypt's cultural and civilizational history.
 
In a related context, the Egyptian Opera House, headed by Magdy Saber, recently announced the opening of the online reservations for the performances of July on its theaters in Cairo and Alexandria.
 
It is noteworthy that the program for the return of opera activities includes concerts of a constellation of the leading stars of music and singing in Egypt and the Arab world, including Mohamed Mounir, musician Omar Khairat, Ali el-Haggar, Medhat Saleh, the Cairo Symphony Orchestra and the pioneer of Jazz musician Yehya Khalil.
