FILE - “Golden Voice” competition
CAIRO – 17 June 2020: On it official YouTube channel, the Cultural Development Fund sector will present on June 18 the closing ceremony of the second edition of the Golden Voice competition, which was held at the end of November 2016.
The Golden Voice competition was won by Mohamed Hisham. The closing ceremony’s program includes a distinguished collection of songs of the golden era.
The closing ceremony was led by maestro Medhat Abdel Samie, professor at the Arab Music Institute.
The Golden Voice competition is considered one of the most important singing competitions launched by the Ministry of Culture represented in the fund sector. It was founded by the late Opera soloist Mohsen Farouk in 2015.
The competition provided more than 40 new voices for the artistic scene. The exceptional talents were artistically adopted by the Development Fund that organized academic artistic workshops that qualified them to participate in a large number of national concerts and events in addition to the International Youth Forum and concerts of the Arab Singing House.
It is worth noting that the second qualifying stage for the fifth online round is completed. The qualified voices total up to 49 contestants from over 120 contestants from different governorates around the country.
