CAIRO - 17 February 2020: In cooperation with the Korean Cultural Center, the Egyptian Opera House will host a concert for the piano and flute duo Kwon Yi Won and Su Jong Lee on Feb. 17 at the Small Theater at 8 p.m.

The concert comes on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Egypt and Korea. The concert’s program includes a selection of the international classical compositions and local musical works.

Flute player Kwon Yi Won graduated from Ewha Woman's University. She is currently a symphony player in the New World Symphony Orchestra and the Benny Flute Band. She won many awards, including the first award in the Korean National Flute Association competition.

As for pianist Su Jong Lee, she received a postgraduate degree from Hanyang University in Korea. She also obtained a diploma from the Chopin Institute in the Polish capital Warsaw. Lee performed in many successful shows in various countries of the world, including Korea, Spain, Colombia and Poland.
