CAIRO - 17 December 2019: As 2019 draws to a close, Twitter’s end-of-year reflection showcases the unique way the year unfolded across the platform.
Through a data pull of Tweets, hashtags and handles, Twitter highlights the stories that have led the public conversation around entertainment in Egypt.
The most mentioned celebrities in Egypt have seen a number of changes in the rankings over the past three years. This year saw the debut of Egypt-based actors Salah Abdullah and Ahmed Salah in the top four, while actor Nabil El Halfawy ascended to the top position, with comedian Mohamed Henedy moving into the third rank.
