CAIRO – 30 November 2019: The Egyptian Jewelries Festival kicked off on Friday, November 29 in New Cairo.
This is the first Egyptian jewelries festival from 11 years ago, The matter that reflects the great enhancement in the Egyptian economic status.
The Egyptian Jewelries Festival witness the participation of a number of prominent fashion designers, jewelries makers, artists and gold merchants.
The festival organiser Abdallah Atwa said that the festivals displays a collection of rare and distinctive jewelry, in addition to a wonderful group of classic and modern jewelry.
The festival honoured veteran Egyptian actress Ragaa el Gidawy and famed Egyptian actor Ahmed Hatem. Famed Egyptian fashion designer Bahig Hussein presented some of his latest designs.
The last Egyptian Jewelries Festival entitled ‘’ Egyptian Queens’’ was held on 2008 and shed light on the art of jewelry making among during ancient Egyptian times from 2500 years ago.
