PARIS, Nov 9 (MENA) - Egyptian Culture Minister Inas Abdel Dayem said Saturday that Egypt's participation as a guest of honor at the 21st edition of the Corsica International Music Festival in France reflects Egypt's strong soft power and its cultural stance.

The invitation also reflects the international appreciation for Egypt and its artists, Abdel Dayem added during the opening of the festival which is organized by the Association of Musicians of Mediterranean Countries.

Egypt's Brass Sound Band, affiliated to the Academy of Arts, performed at the festival's opening ceremony.

Abdel Dayem said that such cultural activities held under the patronage of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi between Egypt and France play a key role in demonstrating the capability of soft power and consolidating relations among peoples.
