CAIRO - 15 October 2019: The press conference of the fourth edition of the Afro-Chinese Arts and Folklore Festival will be held under the chairmanship of Suhair Abdel Kader at the Cairo Library in Zamalek on Oct. 15 at 4:30 p.m.

Details of the festival’s fourth edition will be announced during the conference. The conference will be attended by representatives of the ministries of culture, tourism, youth and sports, social solidarity, antiquities and immigration, in addition to the Chinese cultural counselor in Egypt and a number of stars, including veteran actress Lubna Abdel Aziz and Rania Farid Shawky. This is in addition to representatives of the participating African countries.

The conference’s program includes the artistic participation of children with special needs and the children's cancer hospital. Stars Sameh Yousry and Amir Salahuddin from the black Tema will also participate within the conference’s program.

The fourth edition of the Afro-Chinese Arts and Folklore Festival will be held from Oct. 27 to 31 in Aswan Governorate. Aswan was named the capital of African youth by President Sisi.

The festival will be held under the auspices of the Egyptian Ministry of Culture, Ministry of Tourism, Ministry of Youth and Sports, Ministry of Solidarity, Ministry of Immigration, Ministry of Antiquities and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, with the aim of supporting Egyptian-African-Chinese relations at the cultural and touristic levels.
