CAIRO - 8 October 2019: On Oct. 10, 11, the Egyptian Opera House will celebrate the 31st anniversary of its opening in an artistic ceremony at the Grand Theater at 8 p.m. The ceremony will be held under the supervision of Magdy Saber, president of the Egyptian Opera House, and directed by Jihan Morsi.

The concert will be performed by Mai Farouk, Ahmed Effat and Iman Abdel Ghani accompanied by the orchestra team lead by Mostafa Helmy.

The Egyptian Opera House organizes a series of monthly concerts under the title "Kulthumiyat", in honor of the late Arab singing legend Om Kulthum or “Planet of the East” as part of its plan to revive the heritage of Arab music and to disseminate it to new generations, as an integral part of Egypt's cultural and civilizational history and the bridge between the past, present and future.
