NCW urge women to participate in Breast Cancer Early Detection Initiative

CAIRO - 19 September 2019: The NCW North Sinai branch organized an awareness seminar on the importance of participating in the Presidential Initiative for the Early Detection of Breast Cancer, with the participation of the members of the NCW branch and in the presence of workers in various government departments in the governorate.

Ihsan Dawood al-Ghali, head of the National Council for Women in the province, said in a statement on Wednesday Sept. 18: “The Breast Cancer Early Detection Initiative is part of the Presidential Initiative to Support Egyptian Women's Health”.

She stressed on the importance of the participation of women to check on their health situation, as the medical examination will be free of charge in the many medical points deployed in various health units and communities in the villages.

Al-Ghaly further explained that the branch gathered the largest number of women in villages and various communities, urging them to participate in the initiative.
