CAIRO –9 June 2017: A delegation from the Greek Television visited the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in order to shoot a documentary film that reflects the cultural and civilizational value of the library at the local and international levels.

The media delegation visited the main auditorium and the world digital library, where they learned about digital and technological projects. They perambulated as well the internet archives and Taha Hussein Library, exhibitions and museums within the library and the Museum of the late President Mohamed Anwar Sadat. The delegation listened to an explanation about the library, its centers and cultural and scientific activities.

Everyone expressed great admiration for the library's and the multiple services it offers and the huge digital projects implemented by the library, making it one of the most important libraries in the world.

The staff of the Greek TV channel was accompanied by the Deputy Director of the Department of Information at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, Mohamed Mutash.

It is worth mentioning that former diplomat Mostafa al-Feki has been appointed as the director of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina in May 10 after President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi approved his nomination by the library’s board of trustees.
