CAIRO – 9 June 2019: Amr Diab will perform live in Jeddah at King Abdullah Sports City on Monday, June 10.

Diab released on Monday, April 8 a song entitled "Ma’aderesh ala El-Nesyan" (Unable to Forget).

"Ma’aderesh Ansak" is written by Turk Al-Sheikh and composed by Amr Mustafa.

It is worth mentioning that Egyptian mega star Amr Diab, famed British singer James Arthur and famed Turkish record producer Mahmut Oran performed in the grand ceremony of the American University in Cairo's centennial on April 19.

Famed Egyptian producer and concert organiser Waleed Mansour will organize this huge ceremony.

Diab’s last concert in Saudi Arabia was on April 12. He also performed at Life Park in the Saudi city of Dammam on Friday, March 22.

It is worth mentioning that Diab rocked the stage of Must Opera House on Friday, Feb. 22.

The concert, organized by Waleed Mansour, was the first official concert after the release of Diab's album “kol Hayaty” (All My Life).

After a long hiatus, El-Hadaba - as his fans dub him- held a concert in 6th of October City; the crowded concert was attended by thousands of his lovers.

During the concert, Diab sang a collection of his new and old songs such as “Kol Hayaty” (All My Life), “Nghamet El-Herman” (Tone of Deprivation), “Yetalemo” (Let them learn), “Da Law Etsab” (If She is Left), “Wayah” (With Him), “ Ya Agmal Eyoun” (Most Beautiful Eyes), “Kont Fe Baly” (I was Thinking of You), “Ragea” (I am Back), “Ala Hobak” (Your Love), in addition to his old sad songs: “Wnendam” (Feel Remorse), “Kan Tayeb” (He was Kind), “W Eih Ya’ny” (So What?), “Ayyam We Beneshha”.

Also, Diab performed the new song “Mesh Mohem” (Not Important) for the first time in the concert. “Mesh Mohem” is written by Turki Al-Sheikh, composed by Amr Mostafa, and distributed by Osama el-Hendy.

Diab was the most listened to singer on Anghami in 2018; his most recent album “Kol Hayati” (All My Life) was listened to a record number of times.

Diab adopted a new marketing strategy to promote his latest album " Kol Hayati", new song each week.

Diab performed a massive concert in Nammos, a restaurant in Mykonos, Greece on Friday, July 27 to promote “KolHayati”, where he sang some songs from his new album.

Diab collaborated with several poets, composers and distributers in “KolHayati” album, including Tarek Madkour, Ayman Bahgat Amar, Nader Hamdy, Amr Mostafa and Ahmed el-Malky.

Born in 1961 in Port Said, Diab has risen to fame over the past two decades in the Arab world and continues to break sale records, according to a BBC report and his official Facebook page.

His most famous album, “Nour el-Ain” (Our Eyes Beam), brought him international recognition and earned him the title of “The Father of Mediterranean Music” for his style of blending Egyptian and western rhythms.

The mega star, who founded the record company Mediterranean Music, had his songs translated into seven different languages.

Diab received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Big Apple Music Awards in 2009. At the 2014 World Music Awards, Diab was also awarded Best Egyptian Artist, Best Male Arab Artist and World Best Arab Male Artist Voted Online.

Diab’s first album, “Ya Tareeq” (The Path), was released in 1983. His album,
“Meaddy El-Nas” (Surpassing People), was released in July 2017, following a major viral promotion campaign across Cairo sponsored by Egypt Linx.


Diab has established himself as an acclaimed recording artist in most Mediterranean countries. According to a research by Michael Frishkopf, he has created his style termed as "Mediterranean Music", a blend of Western and Egyptian rhythms.
