CAIRO – 24 January 2018: Young director Dina Abdel Salam's film "Mastika and Rihan" will screen at Cairo International Book Fair on Jan. 28 in the presence of its cast to discuss the film's events with the audience.

The film won the Best Foreign Film Award at the LDP Festival in Florida, USA, and participated in the official competition at the Worldwide Women’s Festival in Arizona and the Women Texas Film Festival in Texas, USA.

"Mastika and Rihan" revolves around two neighbors, Mastika, a 70-year-old Muslim widow, and Rihan, a 67-year-old Christian widower. Both neighbors live alone and have children who have been preoccupied with their lives and marriages.
