Manager of Bibliotheca Alexandrina and OFID General Manager - Egypt Today.
CAIRO – 17 September 2018: Bibliotheca Alexandrina (Alexandria Library) has taken an initiative to recall rich Arabian culture and heritage that was destructed in the past years by the unfortunate regional cultural demolishing, said Mostafa El Feky, manager of the library.
This initiative became possible after an agreement between Bibliotheca Alexandrina and OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID). Herbish received his academic education in Egypt and views it as his second home.

He further stated that Egypt is the leading country in the region in all aspects, and has always inspired developing countries to take steps for reform.
Furthermore, Herbish revealed that the OFID works together with countries in the region in order to achieve sustainable development through combating poverty, ignorance and poor healthcare systems. The man further stated that preserving and protecting any nation’s culture/heritage is considered as the fourth pillar by which sustainable development is achieved.
