CAIRO – 17 October 2017: The Bibliotheca Alexandrina has been chosen to be part of the Goethe Institute’s Science Film Festival, an internationally renowned educational showcase of over 200 films from over 35 countries.

Held in association with the BA’s Planetarium Science Center, this will mark the third edition of Egypt’s participation within the festival. The theme of this year’s festival highlights the "Anthropocene Era," when mankind rose to dominate the planet and forever changed the environment through pollution and technology.

Egypt will be participating with two episodes in the Kids Science series, which aims to explain complex scientific concepts in a way that is understandable and appealing to younger audiences. The two episodes are titled "Moon" and "Rai" respectively.
