International Heritage and Folklore kicks off Saturday

CAIRO – 7 October 2017: The third edition of the International Heritage and Folklore will inaugurated in Hurghada on Saturday featuring an array of folkloric arts and will run until October 10.

The festival aims to revive tourism in the Red Sea region as it will be hosting several countries from the world, according to state-owned Egynews.

Participating countries include Egypt, India, Jordan, Algeria, Oman, and Nigeria. Each country is expected to produce its own folkloric arts, according to statements by Red Sea governor Ahmed Abduallah.

Abduallah emphasized that the festival has a primary role in attracting tourists and encourage visitors to come to the Red Sea region.
