CAIRO – 6 August 2017: Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities will be launching ‘Culturama,’ which are two media centers that will be located in Salah al-Din Citadel, the ministry announced on Sunday.

The project is meant to avoid misguided information given to tourists and visitors and provide them with correct information about Egyptian heritage and antiquities buildings, according to a released statement by the Ministry of Antiquities.

The other center will be providing visitors with antiquities information and insights on future plans. ‘Culturama’ will be implemented within three months.

Salah al-Din Citadel is also witnessing its annual summer

festival

that will be running from August 17 to September 2; featuring multi-disciplinary performances and the opening ceremony inaugurated by authentic Egyptian band Les Petits Chats
Hosted by the Cairo Opera House, the festival will have its opening ceremony featured by the old Egyptian music band ‘Les Petits Chats,’ comprised of members who contributed to pop music starting from 1967.
