CAIRO-4 August 2017: Bibliotheca Alexandria is collaborating with the Centre d’Études Alexandrines (CEAlex) to coordinate “The Streets of Alexandria (Les Rues D’Alexandrie)” competitions to persuade people to rediscover the history of ancient Alexandria.

The competition is creating print designs that promote the cultural and historical heritage of the streets and landmarks of Alexandria, such as restaurants, cultural centers, movie theaters and other venues. The print designs should be presented as a leaflet or handbook by September 14. People can participate in groups or individually.

Bibliotheca Alexandria, also known as the Library of Alexandria, was relaunched in 2002 with mesmerizing architecture. It is a cultural hub where the arts, history, philosophy and science come together. The space serves as a conversation starter, a place allowing for vast discussions and intellectual exchanges.
