United Media Services (UMS) has announced the formation of a specialized committee of experts and creatives to enhance media and drama content. Last week, President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met with Tarek Makhlouf, CEO of UMS, and Mohamed El-Saadi, a board member of the company, in the presence of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly and Minister of Tourism Sherif Fathy.
The meeting focused on the preparations for the Grand Egyptian Museum’s grand opening, set for July 2025, under the supervision of UMS.
During the discussion, President Sisi emphasized the crucial role of media in shaping society and strengthening national identity.
He underscored the need for content that reflects positive societal values and fosters informed awareness.
In alignment with this vision, UMS has already begun assembling a dedicated content committee responsible for developing strategic plans for drama and media production.
This committee will also oversee and evaluate the company’s productions to ensure a well-defined creative direction based on a thorough analysis of societal realities. Additionally, it will conduct a comprehensive review of produced content, assessing strengths and areas for improvement to provide well-founded recommendations that align with national and educational objectives, contributing to the sustainable development of Egypt’s media landscape.
The official announcement of the committee’s formation is expected in the coming days. It will include a distinguished group of industry leaders and experts from various fields, ensuring balanced representation and a comprehensive vision for advancing media content as a whole.
This initiative is part of UMS’s strategic commitment to enhancing media content by striking a balance between creativity, social responsibility, and audience aspirations. The company aims to produce works that embody positive societal values and cultivate awareness aligned with the current era’s needs.
Reaffirming its dedication to developing Egypt’s media landscape, UMS continues to support initiatives that improve content quality, ensuring a dynamic and responsible media environment that meets the expectations of diverse audiences.
