The iconic composer Omar Khairat is holding intensive rehearsals with maestro Nayer Nagui and The Grand Orchestra for a special concert which will be held next Saturday, June 3, at the Sound and Light Theater at the Pyramids and Sphinx. This year, he returns back to this theater after a 6-year absence.
Khairat stated that it will be a delightful experience for the audience. He will present a group of his finest musical compositions which the audience love at the concert. The musical compositions include: “Executing the Dead”, “Dameer Abla Hekmat”, “Arfa”, “Al-Liqaa Al-Thani/the Second Meeting”, “Ghawayesh”, “100 Years of Cinema”, “Al-Khawaga Abdel Kader”, and “Fiha Haga Helwa”. Furthermore, there are endless surprises in coordination with the organizing companies; Kiko’s Events and Collard.
Khairat stated: “I’m pretty excited with the concert and the large audiences from Egypt and from everywhere on the globe. It is just a great opportunity to share my musical compositions with more audiences. That’s what I’m seeking to do in the period ahead. Thus, I named this concert “Omar Khairat’s Experience”. It will be a glamorous experience, for the guests will wear evening outfits and enjoy a welcoming ceremony at sunset overlooking the Great Pyramids of Giza, just before listening to the magnificent musical compositions of Khairat”.
The concert organizer Mahmoud Hussien stated: “it will be a unique artistic evening for the audience who love elite art and catchy music which are carved in their hearts and minds. They won’t forget this evening whatsoever. Moreover, it will be the last concert at the Sound and Light Theater at the Pyramids before it is closed for a while for renovations”.
He added that it is not the first time for Khairat to perform a concert at the Sound and Light Theater. His first concert was in 2017 after being honored in the Golden Fingers Concert in 2011. This time, it is a unique concert as the organizers stated. Khairat will present over 20 pieces of music in a historical way for the first time. The theater accommodates 2500 seats. It is noteworthy that the concert is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities and the Tourism Promotion Authority.
