American film BAYBYLON is was released in Egyptian cinemas on Wednesday, January 18th by Four Star Films, which is distributing the film in Egypt.
The film is a historical drama that follows the rise and fall of various characters during a period of corruption and decadence in the early days of Hollywood.
Damien Chazelle — the director of WHIPLASH and FIRST MAN — wrote and directed the film.
He rose to prominence when he directed LA LA LAND (2016), which won numerous Academy Awards, including Best Director.
The film stars Brad Pitt, who is best known for THE TREE OF LIFE, BABEL, and FIGHT CLUB, and won the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in ONCE UPON A TIME IN HOLLYWOOD (2019).
The cast also includes Margot Robbie, Diego Calva, Jean Smart, and Olivia Wilde.
