“El Ekteyar” ( The Choice) series part 3 continues to shed the light on important facts in Egypt contemporary history.
The series highlighted how Egyptians were protesting across the country on the second anniversary of 25th of January Revolution to say no to Muslim Brotherhood regime.
“El Ekhteyar” highlighted the violence that erupted on January 26, 2013, in Port Said, Ismailia and Suez.
The army had sent troops to surround the branch office of the canal authority in the city and about 11 people were killed in Port Said.
“El Ekhteyar” highlighted how ousted President Morsi declared a 30-day state of emergency in three cities along the Suez Canal, and how Egyptians were against this decision.
The series revealed how Muslim Brotherhood leader Khairat el Shater was against former Minister of Defense Abdel a Fattah El Sisi, criticizing his objective stance which was against MB interests.
MB leader Shater to ousted President Morsi “You have to ignore Sisi, don’t reply to any of his messages, I want him to feel that you don’t want to deal with him, he has to realize also that we can gather our supporters and direct them against him and the army.”
El Ekhteyar presented a leaked video to Khairat El Shater saying “The hunger revolution will negatively effect their interests and Israel's project , when people said they want to go to Israeli border we all said no.We asked Khaled Meshaal to issue a statement and say we do not want the Egyptians to go.”
