CAIRO – 23 December 2021: On December 22, Egypt’s Minister of Tourism & Antiquities Khaled El-Enani participated in the celebration organized by the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF) in Egypt on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the organization.

 

 

 

 

UNICEF is one of the international organizations of the United Nations specialized in the affairs of childhood and adolescence.

 

 

 

 

As part of the participation of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in the celebration, the Pyramids of Giza were lit up for an hour in blue, the official color of the United Nations and UNICEF.

 

 

 

 

The ceremony was held in cooperation with and launched by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, and a number of ministers attended, including the Minister of Planning and Economic Development, the Minister of Immigration and Egyptians Expatriates Affairs, the Minister of International Cooperation, and the UNICEF representative in Egypt.
