This year witnessed a number of major archeological events such as: 

1- The transfer and restoration of more than 55,000 artifacts in the Grand Egyptian Museum.

 

2- Signing with Hassan Allam consortium to operate the Grand Egyptian Museum.

 

3-The completion of installing 100% of the heavy pieces in the Great Hall in the Grand Egyptian Museum.

 

4- Egypt successfully participatee in Expo Dubai 2020.

 

5- The launch of the first replica factory for artifacts in Egypt and the Middle East.

 

6-2021 witnessed the transfer of Khufu boat from the Pyramids areas to the Grand Egyptian Museum.

 

7-Egypt dazzled the whole world with organizing the jow dropping  Sphinxes Avenue grand event.

 

8-Egypt inaugurated “Ramses the great and the Gold of the Pharaohs" at the Houston Museum of Natural Sciences in the United States of America.

 

9-5000 artifacts retrieved from the USA, a bronze statue of the goddess Bastet from Canada, 2 artifacts dating back to the Greek and Roman eras from Italy, 3 artifacts from the Pharaonic and Greek periods from the British capital London, 114 artifacts from France, 2 antique statues from Belgium.

10-Egypt’s Lost Golden City named top archeological discovery in 2021. The Egyptian mission under Dr Zahi Hawass found the city that was lost under the sands near Luxor. The city is 3,000 years old, dates to the reign of Amenhotep III, and continued to be used by Tutankhamen
