CAIRO – 9 September 2021: Al-Sennari Archaeological House of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina is organizing a number of free workshops for children on September 9.

The “Agriculture in Ancient Egypt” workshop will be held in cooperation between Al-Sennari House and the Center for Documentation of Civilized and Natural Heritage. This is in addition to organizing a workshop on “Kilim loom weaving.”

The workshops aim to spread awareness and culture; introduce children to the Egyptian civilization through the ages; acquaint them with the history and achievements of their ancestors; instill the values of belonging and patriotism in their hearts; develop children's creativity; enhance their motor performance and self-confidence; and preserve cultural heritage.

Al-Sennari House is one of the remaining luxurious palaces that were built for the elite. It was built by its owner Ibrahim Katkhuda Al-Sennari.
