CAIRO - 28 July 2021: “Because we in the Documentary Films Unit in DMC refuse to let the homeland tales go into oblivion, we produced the documentary Sawt El Arab ( The Voice of Arabs)” this was the reason why this highly important documentary was made.

“Sawt El Arab” documentary houses testimonies from inside and outside Egypt about this ancient radio.

Through this documentary DMC channel intended to document how the ancient radio channel was the newly born baby of Egypt and its glorious revolution nearly seventy years ago, and a vital factor in the equation of a liberated region in the 1950s and 1960s of the twentieth century.

“We have to narrate how Sawt El Arab was founded after a secret report in Cairo, how it liberated the Arab world, who is the Algerian colonel “Sawt al-Arab”, and how the radio’s revival of weddings and the celebration of marriages at that time was part of the good management of this country for its soft powers and the enforcement of its vision in the region” recounted DMC channel.

The documentary was tailor made to document stories and tales so that our history does not lose its way to new generations amid the tumult of years and the tales of evil people.

Hats off to all the makers of this historical documentary and thanks to all our friends and colleagues who work hard to release United Media Services documentaries in this optimal way.
